Meet Representative Mark Gidley
Mark Gidley proudly serves the people of Alabama House District 29, representing portions of Etowah and Calhoun counties. Since being elected in 2022, he has worked to bring common-sense, values-based leadership to Montgomery — always focused on strengthening families, improving education, honoring military service, and protecting Alabama’s most vulnerable citizens.
A lifelong resident of Etowah County, Mark has built his public service on the same principles that have guided him as a pastor, husband, and community leader: faith, integrity, and accountability. In the Legislature, he serves on the House Committees on Education Policy, Military and Veterans Affairs, and Commerce and Small Business, where he continues to champion policies that reflect the priorities of his district.
